Aims & Objectives

Alipore Social Welfare Trust (ASWT) was registered on 30th of November 1994 with following aims and objectives, at the Registrar of Charity Commissioner’s Office, Surat. 

Aims and Objectives:

  1. To carry out various activities for the welfare of public, irrespective of caste, creed, colour, race, religion or economic status.
  2. To construct and run a hospital for the well-being of the people,
  3. To organize health camps,
  4. To impart Educational aids in the form of scholarship, books, fees, etc. to the 
  5. economically weaker sections of the society,
  6. Activities for the upliftment of small villages,
  7. Other activities as deemed necessary by the trust.
OUR MAIN OBJECTIVE is to support the marginalised communities residing in various villages and towns around Alipore by Providing:
  1. All the Developmental Needs of Alipore Hospital by updating each Department.
  2. Round-the-Clock Ambulance Services which serves Emergency and Trauma Care Patient.
  3. Health Awareness amongst the local communities with Free Mobile Dispensary Services (FMDS)-Mobile Medical Unit(MMU).
  4. Free Medical Camps of Various Medical Faculties and Health Awareness Programmes.
  5. Higher Education Awareness through ASWT Scholarships.
  6. Nursing & Paramedical Education at ASWT Alipore Hospital Paramedical and Nursing Institute.
  7. Medical Reliefs to the patients through Alipore Hospital Patient Welfare and Advisory Committee which have members from villages in surrounding areas, where we provide with required counseling, information and valuable advises.
  8. Relief Works during Disasters under ASWT Alipore Hospital Disaster Relief Fund by Emergency Medical Treatment, Free Dispensary Services, Food Distribution, Rehabilitations and all other relief works as found fit by the Relief Team .
Alipore Social Welfare Trust is inspired by the opportunity to make a meaningful difference through the enlargement of its contribution to the national economy by providing Healthcare, Paramedical and Nursing Education and Higher Educational Reliefs amongst the local population.
